Overview of M Pharmacy
M Pharmacy, or Master of Pharmacy, is an advanced two-year postgraduate course in the field of pharmacy. It is designed to equip students with in-depth knowledge and skills to excel in the field of research and development. To be eligible for admission, students must have a B Pharmacy degree from a college recognized by the Pharmacy Council of India, with a minimum of 55% marks.

M Pharmacy syllabus
The course is divided into four semesters, with the first and second semesters consisting of theory and practical subjects, along with seminar/assignment. The third and fourth semesters have a common syllabus for all specializations.

M Pharmacy 1st Year Syllabus
The first year is divided into two semesters and includes eight theoretical and two practical subjects, along with seminar/assignment. The first year is important in terms of the students’ curriculum, and there are university semester exams for all the subjects.
M Pharmacy 1st Semester:
The first semester syllabus of M Pharmacy for all specializations includes four theoretical and one practical subject, along with Seminar/Assignment. Modern Pharmaceutical Analytical Technique is a common theoretical subject for all specializations, except Regulatory Affairs and Pharmacy Practice.
M Pharmacy 2nd Semester:
The second semester of M Pharmacy first year includes Seminar/Assignment along with four theoretical and one practical subject for all specializations.
M Pharmacy 2nd Year Syllabus
The second year is divided into third and fourth semesters, with the same syllabus structure for all specializations.
M Pharmacy 3rd Semester:
The third semester of the second year is common for all specializations and includes Research Methodology and Biostatistics as a common theoretical subject. This semester also includes Journal Club, Discussion/Presentation, and Research Work.
M Pharmacy 4th Semester:
The fourth and last semester of M Pharmacy includes Journal Club, Research Work, and Discussion/Final Presentation.
Each semester is six months in duration, with a 100-day period in between to complete the syllabus. University semester exams are conducted in the months of May/June/July and November/December/January. M Pharmacy offers students a comprehensive education in pharmacy and prepares them for a successful career in research and development.
